Blue Ewer signs with new sponsors for 2016
After a successful year competing on the SW and national SUP events Blue Ewer has been snapped up by Naish UK, K4 Fins and Reactive Watersports for the 2016 season. Blue Ewer, 14 from Plymouth, started paddle boarding at the ripe old age of 5 and did his first wave comp at 6 years old. With his new team rider status it shows that hard work pays off.
Last year Blue competed in a string of race events winning every youth comp he entered. His results were Carbis Bay EuroCup (1st youth), Legend of the Bay – Watergate Wave (1st youth), Hayle Surf to Salt (1st youth), Exe Hammer (1st Youth – 9th overall), Mewstone Paddle (overall winner) and runner up in the BSUPA SUP Wave Nationals at Watergate.
Blue is super keen to build on this 2015’s success and will be competing further afield this year. He’ll be using Naish Javelin race boards, Naish Hokua Keiki SUPs and the brand’s LE range, all with matching yellow K4 fins.
