Friday Feb 2 saw Fatstick SUP lead five Hayling Island schools on an initiative to help clean up the local beach and shoreline. With plastic waste and keeping our coastlines debris free the Bournemouth based brand are the latest company to get on board and do their bit for the environment and the space we frequent regularly.
The brainchild of local resident and Fatstick crew member Andy Warner pupils from assorted schools in the area were keen to do their bit and make the beach a cleaner, better place.
While Fatstick SUP were the main partner there was also support from local business Hayden Vehicle Rentals who got the children to and from the beach. Also local photographer Mike Owens was present to capture those all important images which you can see here – http://www.mikeowensphotography.com/Events/Hayling-Beach-Clean-Jan-2018/
