Shore Watersports Paddlesports event report and gallery

The weekend saw a raft of SUP flavoured events around the country and with good weather on the cards, for the first half of play, it was a great opportunity for SUP Mag UK to hit up East Wittering (West Sussex) and check out some new stand up paddle gear at the Shore Watersports Paddlesports event.

In attendance were Nick Hepworth from Blu Wave SUP, Jon Popkiss from Nah Skwell, the guys from Tiki/NSP, the Surftech crew, Jamie from Red Paddle Co, BIC SUP, O’Neill Wetsuits, Indo Board and a gaggle of sit on top kayak brands.

It’s no easy feat coordinating such a gathering – especially when you have Mother Nature in the mix. And yet, droves of punters rocked up to the shingle do get their paddling fix and try out some new toys. SUP Mag UK editor, Tez Plavenieks, and everybody’s fave helm, Anne Egan, were on the ground and doing the rounds, chatting the chat and scoring some water time.
