Starboard 2016 inflatable Racer range – game changing for competitive paddlers?

It’s no secret that inflatable stand up paddle board technology is gaining ground on it’s harder SUP siblings. For 2016 Starboard have upped their game further with the introduction of the Racer which could be game changing SUP racers wanting maximum portability, convenient board storage and a machine that doesn’t lose out in the performance stakes (too much).

For elite racers full carbon hard SUPs will still be the preferred weapons of choice. But there’s no denying that with the 2016 Racer Starboard are proving inflatables can certainly hold their own. It’s only a matter of time before iSUPs overtake their harder brethren, surely?
