SUP: Exe Hammer 2016 falls – Exmouth’s premier SUP racing event is back!
Edge Watersports dropped us a line regarding 2016’s Exe Hammer SUP race that takes place Sunday Sept 25.
Back again for 2016 is Edge Waterport’s annual Exe Hammer. This 12km Stand Up paddleboard race/regatta is taking a different route for 2016 with the participants paddling from Topsham back to Exmouth as opposed to the other way round in previous years, this change of direction will enable a much easier start at the Topsham quay which will be great for spectating. The post event party is set to take place at The Beach house which provides an amazing venue for a few beers and some after race banter! This years event is supported by Exeter City Futures who Edge are working closely with to help create a greener Exeter with events such as the Hammer being a great image for this initiative.
The cost of entry will be £30, this will include safety boat cover, drink at the beach house (evening tickets can be brought for £15 per person) and transport to Topsham from Exmouth for the start of the event which will enable you to leave your cars in Exmouth during the race.
