SUP Mag UK welcomes Tony Jeacock to the equipment test team

As readers will know SUPM puts a lot of effort into its equipment tests to make sure you the user/reader is informed and are armed with all necessary the details that hopefully make purchasing decisions easier. Covering a wide spectrum of kit, from beginner to advanced stand up paddle boarding toys (including boards themselves, paddles and accessories) we bring in depth write ups to you each issue and will continue to do so moving forwards.

Due to the demanding nature of testing equipment SUPM has a team of reviewers on hand ready to demo each piece of equipment across as many scenarios as possible. Alongside Richard Heathcote we’ve had the good fortune to include Stephane Lefevre in the team. But sometimes situations change and alas Steph has now moved on. We wish him well for the future and good luck with any SUP endeavours moving forwards.

Not wanting to slow the momentum, however, SUPM has now recruited local Hayling Island based paddler Tony Jeacock. Tony represents the everyman SUP enthusiast who rides across a variety of different environments from waves to flat water. As Tony represents the core of who stand up paddle boarding equipment is currently sold to his opinion on each piece of kit will prove invaluable as well as ensuring SUPM covers all skill bases when delivering gear write ups.

We’re sure SUPM readers will give Tony a big warm welcome and we look forward to working with him moving forwards.

Tony said: ‘I’m really looking forward to joining the SUPM testing team. I am very passionate about paddling can’t wait to put some products through their paces.’

Welcome along Tony!
