…when a plan comes together – O’Shea SUP & NCW wetsuits partner up for 2018

Two of SUPM’s longstanding partners – O’Shea SUP and NCW Wetsuits – have joined forces for the coming season. NCW will now be offering O’Shea inflatable stand up paddle boards for anyone looking to get afloat in the Polzeath/Daymer Bay area of Cornwall – or at home if you decide you’d like to own one.

With idyllic touring SUP opportunities available along the Camel Estuary (tide dependant), mellow surfing at Daymer Bay and more hardcore wave charging access in Polzeath itself paddlers are spoilt for choice in this part of Kernow.

NCW owner Mark Graham is a long standing resident of the area and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to watery shenanigans in and around this recognisable Cornish surfing village. As such he’s only too happy to pass it on. Oh, and he may bend your ear about all things rubber as well.

NCW’s head honch Mark said: ‘We have decided to stock some iSUPs at our little showroom just outside Polzeath, Cornwall. If you have not tried SUP you really should give it ago. It’s very accessible to young and old. My 7 year old loves some SUP time and I’ve even given a local pensioner a few lessons – she loved it! It’s a recreational sport open to all which we are really like here at NCW. After talking with some folks in the know we got in contact with O’Shea International because of their reputation for a real top end quality product. SUPM’s equipment reviews also helped!

Currently we are stocking the 10’6″ HD iSUP and are offering a ‘ready to go’  get on the water package which includes the board with build in cargo net, pump, paddle, carry bag and we’ll even throw in an O’Shea leash free of charge, all for £699 (collection only right now).

The 10’6″ is, as O’Shea say,  the big brother of their recreational iSUPS. At 34” wide it’s uber stable, suitable for either heavy weights or absolute novices and indeed the growing market of SUP Yoga fans – those bendy types (although not so bendy people can also get involved). It’s one of the most popular SUPs on the market hence our stock choice.
