Tidal Rave is a new paddle board brand for me and SUPM testing. Hailing from the sunny climes of Essex, the Tidal Rave brand was born out of a passion for all things ocean, sailing, and watersports.

The first thing that grabs your attention is the bright and lively graphic adorning the Plazma. It’s bold, to say the least. Created by acrylic artist Tiago Martins, this design aesthetic is familiar across the whole range of Tidal Rave inflatable stand up paddle boards. You may not care for the Plazma graphic. In which case, pursue the Tidal Rave range and pick the livery that suits you. There’s plenty!

The Tidal Rave Plazma is a solid, well-finished iSUP manufactured in premium double-layer drop-stitch material. It is easy to inflate, and all the seams and such have a quality finish. Attention to detail has certainly been given. As Tidal Rave themselves state, their boards are not the utmost rigid, but they’re lightweight and durable.

On the water, there’s a little deflection when standing right in the middle of the board, but it’s not a deal breaker by any stretch. The Plazma isn’t designed for charging big waves or covering huge distances in an adventure SUP style. Instead, it is an affordable recreational inflatable paddle board manufactured with fun in mind.

Considering the above, the Tidal Rave Plazma 10’6 would suit family paddling particularly well. But it’s not just about family fun; this board is a blast for anyone. It can be clambered all over, jumped off, and used for general beach frolics. But, if you fancy, it’ll also teach you plenty about paddleboarding and help you dial in those skills.

CONCLUSION
Recreational inflatable paddle boards have been around for a while. Many riders looking to get into the sport want an affordable craft that they can have fun with. The Tidal Rave Plazma, priced at just £ 299, is a perfect example. Usually, multiple users – such as family and friends – will be in mind when purchasing a board like this. You get a perfectly usable product that delivers on the smile factor. And there isn’t anything wrong with that!
