Indiana Paddle & Surf gains UK distributor

Fans of top-quality SUP and wing foil boards will be excited to learn that Indiana Paddle & Surf products will be available from a UK-based distributor from this Spring.

Indiana is a Swiss company that started making award-winning skateboards in 1989 before diversifying into SUP in 2010 through its Indiana Paddle & Surf subsidiary. In the early SUP years, Indiana concentrated on touring, racing and surf, then more recently became active in the foil and wing surfing market.

Cumbria-based outdoor distributor Lyon Equipment has announced that it is taking on the exclusive UK and Ireland distribution of Indiana Paddle & Surf products. They will distribute a range of products specifically focused on the UK market including hydrofoils, wing foil boards (inflatable and hard), pump foil boards, specialist paddleboards (inflatable and hard) plus paddles and accessories.

“Having taken time to get to know them, we’ve been hugely impressed with Indiana Paddle & Surf; both the quality and attention to detail in their product design, and their team’s dedication, curiosity and expertise” says John Samways, Lyon Equipment Head of Sales and Marketing. “We share the same values – clean water and a healthy planet – so it’s good to learn that Indiana are committed to supporting the Surfrider Foundation. As we both see it, the longer a product is in use, the smaller its ecological impact is in relation to time. That’s why Indiana and Lyon Equipment both focus on providing quality and durable products.”

Arriving in March 2022, key Indiana Paddle & Surf products will include the Feather SUP board – one of the lightest boards on the market – the Race composite SUP board, and Indiana’s Wing Foil Carbon boards.

Indiana Paddle & Surf will be an addition to Lyon Equipment’s Watersports division which distributes quality, reliable watersports products with a portfolio including RTM kayaks, DAG and Zegul sea kayaks, Egalis paddles, plus Tahe and Nautix windsurfing products.
