SUPfit are excited to announce their winter plans, working with Pro SUPer and fitness guru Ryan James to bring the ‘Winter Sessions’ to centres across the UK.
Winter Training Sessions will run on a monthly basis during the colder darker days to keep you motivated, and ensuring you stay SUP Fit!
SUPfit’s founder Lucy McCormick says, “Stand Up Paddleboarding doesn’t stop in the winter, in fact its the perfect time to be working on improving technique, progress your skills and getting you ready for the year ahead. Ryan brings a coaching program that will develop your paddle skills, teach effective techniques and help you become a faster, stronger and skilled paddleboarder. As well as an extremely talented and experienced SUP racer, Ryan is also highly qualified in fitness and nutrition”
The Winter Sessions are Supported by Black Project Fins, ZRE & H2Pro Hydrate. At each session we will have Black Project demo fins for you to try along with tips and advice on choosing which fin for which occasion, a selection of ZRE paddles for you to get to grips with and you will go home with a supply of H2Pro hydrate goodies.
Kicking things off in Poole (the day after the first Frostbite race), is the first Race Fit coaching session aimed at the SUP Racers out there, whether you are an seasoned pro or you are wanting to get involved in the competitive side of SUPing, these sessions will help you plan your race year ahead, getting you ready and and raring to go in 2016.
The week after, Saturday 12th December it will be onto Lagoon Watersports, Hove to run the first SUP Fit coaching session, aimed at all those who can SUP, these sessions will work on technique both on and off land, you will develop paddle skills, learn effective techniques and take your SUP skills to the next level.
For the New Year, 16th & 17th January, there are dates available at Bray Lake, an amazing paddle location with a great SUP community. Keep an eye out for dates in February and March, locations to be announced soon.
Sessions cost: £99.00 includes winter training manual, snazzy SUPfit bag, SUPfit ‘winter sessions’ technical tee and H2Pro Hydrate goodies.
